Daily Help Desk Summary

Who

Internal Project: We built this for AbleSpark to solve the same "what's actually on my plate?" problem we solve for our clients.

The Challenge

Our help desk queue was technically accurate, but real client issues were buried under a mountain of auto-generated noise: plugin updates, security alerts, and moderation emails. Every morning started with 15+ minutes of scrolling and second-guessing just to figure out where to begin.

The Solution

We pointed AI at our own inbox. An automated workflow now performs triage before the coffee is finished:

  • Filters the Noise: Strips out the automated alerts that don't require manual action.
  • AI Sorting: Organizes remaining tickets into a fixed daily layout.
  • Status Flags: Every item gets a clear tag (e.g., "Unassigned" or "Stalled 26 days") so nothing quietly ages out.
  • Compact Briefing: Delivers a single email with clickable links directly to the tickets.

The Result

What used to be a 15-minute chore is now a 30-second read. We now use this same pattern (pull data, let AI sort, deliver where you already look) as our default template whenever a client is drowning in their own inboxes or orders.
